"An inspiration to start my own blog"

"For dipping into it's better than pakora sauce"

"Anyone who doesn't like the EU and has a soft spot for Albion Rovers can't be all bad"

    "Facile and False"

    "Populist,puerile and prosaic"

"People may also find the Ben Lomond Free Press blog illuminating, interesting and/or amusing. It’s not mentalist as such but familiar themes emerge. I particularly like accounts of encounters with strange elementals (of course! ELEmentals!) from elfin safety. And the fact that the blog is run by someone who plays in a blues band called Harmonica Lewinsky."

Sheer Hot Attack

The DPRK News Desk reports that Kim Jong Un has been to the fitba’

Red Army!…..Red Army!

The two teams advanced into the finals after proving successful at the men’s premier soccer league matches. They played good games, displaying high technique they have cultivated in day-to-day trainings.

The Rimyongsu Team took the initiative from the beginning according to its tactics and made hot attacks.

In the first half the players of the Rimyongsu Team enjoyed 2:0 lead through nice heading and shooting.

In the second half the Amnokgang Team players succeeded in scoring a goal through skilful passes and hot attack.

The game ended 2:1 for the Rimyongsu Team.

Kim Jong Un congratulated the footballers of both teams on playing a good match, expressing great satisfaction with their high technique.

The full report can be read here. One does wonder at the wee angry man at the newsdesk’s grasp of the beautiful game……….

State of the art stadium in DPRK. Like Central Park Cowdenbeath, but bigger.
