There’s a very narrow line sometimes between success and failure. To win or lose a football league championship by one point is like winning or losing a marathon by one second.
Helicopter Sunday was a tense affair for all of 46 seconds yesterday and any remaining doubts about the destination of the chopper and thus the SPL title, were extinguished by 12.37 pm. The Killie pies and Parheid pakora hadn’t even been warmed up.
As it turned out both my predictions of results were correct although I got it quite wrong by suggesting that Rangers perhaps would have a game on their hands.
And thank goodness, the fans behaved.
