"Great read every day. Makes me smile as Rab muses about music and his irreverent views on the EU. Tune in, you won't be disappointed."

"Excellent 'Blog' which can be controversial at times, while maintaining it's humour. Keep it up Big Rab!"

"Updated every day with doses of good humour, political satire, a running commentary on the progress of author's home football team and his life."

"Pure brilliant, so it is - I never miss it, though God knows, I've tried."

"An inspiration to start my own blog"

"For dipping into it's better than pakora sauce"

"Anyone who doesn't like the EU and has a soft spot for Albion Rovers can't be all bad"

    "Facile and False"

    "Populist,puerile and prosaic"

"Utter pish! Keep it up, I love it!"

"People may also find the Ben Lomond Free Press blog illuminating, interesting and/or amusing. It’s not mentalist as such but familiar themes emerge. I particularly like accounts of encounters with strange elementals (of course! ELEmentals!) from elfin safety. And the fact that the blog is run by someone who plays in a blues band called Harmonica Lewinsky."

Marina Del Ray

The following is a track from a friend's band. Julian Crook hails from Worcester in SW England and he plays keyboards with Marina Del Ray http://www.marinadelray.org/

03 Saint Paul

Marina Del Ray

They are amongst the first bands who will feature on http://www.we7.com/ which is a free download site set to go live soon. It has the support of Peter Gabriel and although the downloads are free the artists get paid through advertising revenue.

Is This the Funniest Sketch Ever Seen on T.V.?

I watched an episode from the current Harry Enfield/Paul Whitehouse series and found it unfunny in the extreme. However the following from 1991 I rate as possibly the funniest t.v. sketch of all time.

Punch a Celebrity!

I'm sure fate is conspiring against me. Broadcasters, not content with unleashing another collection of f****wits in to voyeuristic living rooms nationwide (Big Brother) have combined the elements of a competitive "light entertainment" show, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Graham Norton in the ONE PROGRAMME.

Surely I'm not alone in my total disdain for Big Brother/Jungle Celebrities/Pop Factor/Celebrity Stools pish which contaminates the airwaves these days.

I have found an excellent website which you can go to for the duration of these programmes it's called Punch a Celeb.

This can relieve stress and give you a feel good warm glow. Before you pick your favourite celeb to abuse both physically and verbally however, have a look at the all time chart. The top two abused celebs are Neil Lennon and Barry Ferguson. Lennon's coupon has been punched more than 31,000,000 times!!!

Barry Ferguson has notched over 20,000,000. There is however no information on whether Paul Le Guen has visited the site.

While you're there, be sure to give Jade Goody and Paul Daniels a gratuitous skelp for me.
