How to conduct yourself in a strange land

There are few things more peculiarly Scottish than square Lorne sausage.

There are many and varied things I enjoy far more than square sausage, but on a Sunday morning when one is hungry and in need of sustenance in a short timescale, then it has no rival. This is particularly so if accompanied by a slice of black pudding and/or a potato scone and put in a roll.

For added enjoyment, cooked outdoors on a camping stove it’s even better!

Anyway, the point of all this culinary pornography is a new Japanese tourist guide to Scotland.

The BBC takes up the story:

Another report on the story is here

Lorne sausage, council houses, Irn Bru, whisky, rounds and kittys.

That’ll be all the main points covered……..

Tourist Guide to Scotland

This is very funny (language warning!)
