There are few things more peculiarly Scottish than square Lorne sausage.
There are many and varied things I enjoy far more than square sausage, but on a Sunday morning when one is hungry and in need of sustenance in a short timescale, then it has no rival. This is particularly so if accompanied by a slice of black pudding and/or a potato scone and put in a roll.
For added enjoyment, cooked outdoors on a camping stove it’s even better!

Another report on the story is here
Lorne sausage, council houses, Irn Bru, whisky, rounds and kittys.
