Lewinsky – Rare Sighting! (and Sounding)

Yes folks a rare chance to see Helensburgh’s (and the Vale’s) finest Blues/R&B band a week on Saturday.
Once again the gig is for children’s charity and organised by Tommy Sharkey. Tommy’s band aren’t appearing this time but there are several other bands and artists playing on the night.
The Lewinskys will be the final band [...]

Rab’s Helensburgh Blues

Saturday Gig

Anyone of youse coming along to the gig on Saturday should note that there’s been a time change. Whilst the gig times are the same, Harmonica Lewinsky will now be on at 10pm and not 8pm as previously scheduled. Sorry if this mucks people about in any way.

This Saturday (11th April) Harmonica Lewinsky play Coopers in Helensburgh in a fund raiser for Yorkhill Children’s Hospital in Glasgow. The charity “Songs for Aedan and Friends” was founded by Helensburgh man Tommy Sharkey and I’ve been involved in a couple of events to raise money. Last year Tommy and his team of helpers raised [...]

Lewinsky Appearance

I have been asked by some readers (Dylan and Debbie) to keep youse informed of any (rare) live musical appearances of Harmonica Lewinsky. Smiler, Martin and myself will be appearing at Coopers James St Helensburgh on 11/04/09 along with a guitarist yet to be coerced.  It will only be for half a dozen or so [...]

Songs for Aedan and Friends

I haven’t done too much playing and performing during 2008 and most of what I have done has been charity related. Last Night at the Victoria Hall in Helensburgh I was priveleged to play in front of hundreds of locals who had made, by their ticket purchase, a contribution to “Songs for Aedan and Friends”. [...]
