This song has been an ever present in my repetoire ever since I’ve been singing the blues. No one sang it like T Bone Walker, (although my friend Shirley Campbell does a pretty good job on it!) As I don’t have a video of Shirley doing it, here is T Bone Walker and Stormy Monday.

I had a series running on my previous blog entitled The Blues Masters. Time to revive it with this extraordinary video featuring Hound Dog Taylor, His wife Koko Taylor, Little Walter and Hubert Sumlin. During the performance the camera pans out to reveal Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, presumably the next “act”.
