This small festival has grown and now spreads over two days of live music and lots of real ales. It’s becoming one of the top drinking events of the Scottish calendar. I was gigging last night and played this number. I think I first played this live over thirty years ago. Many will remember the Rory Gallagher version but this remains my favourite. This footage is from the Montreaux jazz festival in 1978.

Brilliant event last night. Well organised, wonderfully supported (I doubt if many more folk could have squeezed in). Most importantly over £4000 was raised for Bobath Scotland.

After months of meticulous planning, Castle Rocks Rock and Blues Bash goes ahead tonight at Dumbarton Masonic Hall. We are all looking forward to a nice big cheque being handed over to Bobath Scotland who help children with cerebral palsy.
