Sea no evil

Today for a change, Richie and I took the canoe out on the Clyde. Just a short paddle over to Rosneath from Helensburgh and back. Stopped a while on the remote shore at Rosneath point. Saw lots of bird life and a seal at Green Island just off the point.

Bernard the turkey

I met Bernard when I picked Richie up today. It may be unusual to have a pet turkey but in fact Richie had two. The other one was called……….drum roll……….Matthew, but he came off second best in an encounter with a fox.

  1. I’m not one for canoeing, the wet, the cold, the drowning, all put me off. However the sights you see are fab! I miss that sort of thing here.

  2. Neither of us drowned, nor were we wet or cold – It’s great oot there!
