All I’m saying is, watch, and listen to it all.
My jaw nearly hit the floor this morning when I read that Tommy Sheridan is to stand for the Scottish parliament in May after a ruling from the European Court of Human Rights. Until now anyone in prison has been barred from standing but yesterday’s ruling, which says that Sheridan’s human rights have been breached by the ban, will allow him to stand in the West Renfrewshire constituency won at the last Scottish election by Tory leader Annabel Goldie.
It was revealed that if Sheridan is successful in the election he would be released immediately to take up his duties. The ruling came on the day that Jim Devine was jailed for his falsely claiming expenses. There were rumours last night that Devine could act as Sheridan’s election agent.
