I didn’t make the long journey yesterday but Sons got a draw in the Scottish cup against a team two leagues above them and after being 2-0 down. I hear we were fortunate but it was a good result and I’ll bet the Dingwall side will not be relishing the replay.

I notice from The Times that Peter Mandelson has put pressure on Woolies’ bankers ( a subsiduary of Barclays) to be more patient about the situation. One can see the reasoning here. Thanks to my good friend Stockport Steve for the heads up. Apparently this Manchester band have been around since 1999 but this is the first I’ve heard of them. This track from 2005 is the berries.
