  1. The pace of change is truly remarkable. During the clip, the council appear to have knocked down a busy row of shops and developed it into parkland. Barclays Bank can afford the rates on a corner site, right opposite a huge Post Office. Nearly forty years later, they ban cars from getting anywhere near the shops, close the post office and leave the High Street deserted. Progress.
